Do you have a child who is curious about their Swedish heritage and would like to study Swedish as a second language?

The distance education program run by the Association of Swedish Beyond Borders – SMUL offer three different beginner courses in Swedish:

Beginner courses for elementary students 7-9 years

Beginner courses for elementary students 10-13 years

Beginner courses for high school students 14-18 years

The courses are run online by a teacher formally trained in Swedish as a second language. They require no previous knowledge of the Swedish language. We offer all of these three courses as step 1-3 for new and returning students, respectively.
